What we've been doing...

...not much that's interesting to write about.

We are down to the "crunch week" as Daddy calls it. As most of you know, we are trying to get the house finished up before Christmas when all the family is coming in. So, we have been painting and caulking and guess what? We finally have floors in! Hooray! We put the laminate flooring down Friday and Saturday then finished up the last little bit this morning. The biggest part of the house that has been completed though is probably the siding. Yes, the guys finally have that done. There are still a few pieces that need to put up on the side of the porch roof, but all the siding on the house is done and we are so glad. We still need to caulk and paint, but it's no longer such a burden on Daddy.

Now I know that this is all boring news, but I'm afraid it's about all I have to offer (right now anyways) because that's all we've been doing. Although, last week, we did have some excitement when our elderly neighbor, who lives at the end of our driveway, was missing. We joined a search party, went looking for him, and eventually found him, lying in a ditch in the woods. Apparently, he had decided to go for a walk, fell, and couldn't get back up. He is still in the hospital as far as we know, but that is about all we know.

We did have some fun with another neighbor's birthday this past weekend. :) You can read all about it here. Oh that was so much fun!

We are also looking forward to a couple of families moving here in the very near future. This family will be here just before the end of the year and this family just after. It will be so good to have them both here, joining us in the work in Centerville. Can't wait!

I was looking at this post the other day and reading all the comments. It made me laugh, so I thought I'd bring it up again. ;)

Oh, and Happy Anniversary Dad and Mom!
