Well, no not really. I don't know if any of y'all have ever played this game before, but one person is "it" and takes certain items to "the moon". All of these items have something in common, and you can't "go to the moon" unless you have the theme figured out. I'm not sure how this got started, but it's been going on all evening.
I was thinking last night about how I haven't posted in awhile and needed to do so soon; wasn't sure what in the world to post about, so this will probably be a boring couple of paragraphs. Feel free to skip over it.
Caleb did finally agree on a name for his ATV. And it is . . . Cletus. It was going to be "Bill", but then he came across this music video and decided that the name had to be "Cletus". His laptop got the name "Bill" though, which fits. Now there is something else that needs to be named and if you feel like suggesting anything. . . A certain friend of mine has an iPod nano (blue in color) and can't come up with a good name for it. My dear brother has suggested "Sue", someone else "Leon", but neither went over too well with the owner of the iPod. ;) If you have any better names, you'll have to submit them quickly or "Sue" is gonna stick. :)
Remember the Sharpie? Now he's looking for a keychain dry-erase marker. ;) We went to a birthday party not long ago and our hostess used dry-erase markers on her crock-pots, microwave, etc. Well, Caleb got a hold of a few markers tonight and is coloring on anything in his path: his glass, the bathroom mirrors, Mom's china cabinet (bad idea), the windows. . . at least it comes off.
Not much has been going on around here lately that is of much interest. We did have a terrible storm blow through earlier this week. We are very thankful that we are all safe and that our house/land wasn't touched. Just miles down the road a tornado twisted it's way through several homes and fields ripping apart anything in it's path. So I guess that was a little exciting, and a little scary. We have really been enjoying the beautiful weather we've had the past couple of days; riding the fourwheelers and shooting skeet and coke cans; the kind of things that are difficult to do while it's raining. :) We watched the movie Time Changer last night for our film night and really enjoyed it. Great movie if anyone needs a recommendation. Theology is a little off, but it still has some good lessons in it.
glad to know the dry erase trick has come in handy :wink
ReplyDeleteSeeing as we have been having a time lately trying to come up with a name for our non-existent IPod, and seeing that we won't be getting one in the foreseeable future, I will give a couple of our suggestions
ReplyDeleteDory: this one really only works if it's 1gig or less, so that one's not very good.
We kinda liked Stanley, but of course, it's all up to the owner.
BTW, love the dry-erase marker key-chain idea! ;)
Thanks for posting.
We just figured out why Kaliste hasn't posted for two weeks! She's visiting the moon!! :)

P.S. When Evan saw the title he really believed you!
