The fort in the woods

A few weeks ago, two dear families stayed with us for a long weekend. And boy, did we have fun! One of the highlights for the younger ones though, was their "fort" up in the woods. The rest of us kept hearing about this "fort" that they were building and finally took the hike up the hill to see what all the fuss was about. And were we surprised or what! They had hauled logs, some ten or twelve feet long, through the woods to their building site and erected a pretty amazing fort! Needless to say, we were impressed. So much so, that I just had to post a few pictures here; although, they hardly do it justice.
