Planning, coordinating, cooking, making phone calls. . .you name it, someone over here's probably doing it. I just can't believe that it is already May and that our annual Presbytery meeting/gathering is here! The first of the out-of-town guests arrived last night and another family will be in this afternoon. All the details are coming together, but there's still a lot of work to do!
And on top of it all, it just won't stop raining! Last week we had some major flooding around us. There was so much water, we were worried that we were going to have to blow up some air mattresses and ride them to church. No, we never had to go that far, but it still was a funny visual. We have so many outdoor projects that we are really getting behind in because of all the water. For example, the grass has got to be about three feet high by now, but parts of our yard are still too wet to get a mower through. And I have a bunch of transplants the really need to be planted, but the garden's been to wet to till, which has to be done before I can plant anything out there. They should give you a good idea of what was going on anyways.
So if the posts are sparse for the next two weeks or so, this is why. I'm hoping you understand.
