Yesterday was a very different Thanksgiving for Caleb and me. Last week, my uncle called and asked us if we wanted to go snow skiing in Colorado with him and his family over Thanksgiving. And of course, we said yes. So here we are at Beaver Creek in Colorado skiing our hearts out and having a blast! :) Caleb and I went to two days of ski school, since we had never skied before, had a lot of fun there, and today we hit the slopes with the rest of the family.
This is the base of the mountain at Beaver Creek. At the end of the day, you can always find people walking around with hot chocolate and freshly baked cookies. Nice way to end the day. :)
This is actually a restaurant almost at the top of the mountain. We stopped here for lunch on our second day.
And the ski lift. After taking this picture I decided that it probably wasn't the best idea for me to try taking pictures while riding the lift. I had to hang on to poles, gloves, and a phone, and I'm just glad I didn't drop anything...cause I could totally see myself doing that. :)
Doing green runs at the top of the mountain.
Caleb the skier...
...and Matt the snowboarder. His snowboard name is "Goofy". That works.
Not a bad view, eh?
