San Francisco!

Wednesday afternoon we drove over to San Francisco, and went and stuck our feet in the Pacific. The skies were clear and sunny, and we very much enjoyed the trip. We drove across the Golden Gate Bridge, stopped at the shore, drove back across the bridge, and up a ridge road that overlooked the city. That was beautiful! Just on the other side of that ridge, across the bay from the big city is all rolling hills and gorgeous countryside! We drove down a windy road that overlooked the ocean, and it was simply breathtaking.

I don't have a lot of time here, so I'm just going to let the pictures speak for themselves. We saw starfish and seals along the shores, barges coming in and out of the bay, and the sun shining over the Pacific. It was just a lovely afternoon.

  1. AHA! Found a Lovett blog!
Glad y'all could come out to warm and sunny California and spend time with us boring Californians. Be careful what you post about our amazing state ;)

We are glad we could come out, too. And y'all are definitely not boring! You guys were tons of fun! Now you need to come out and visit us. :)

  3. Wow, I don't think I've seen San Francisco so clear! Hopefully, some California families can make it out to Presbytery.

  4. Yeah, it was a gorgeous day!

That would be awesome! It'd be great to see you guys, especially since it doesn't look like we're going to be able to make it out for Kevin's wedding like we had originally planned. :(
