Happy Birthday, Caleb!

Today is my dear brother's thirteenth birthday. Thirteen. The beginning of manhood. Or at least it's supposed to be...

Caleb is a wonderful brother. But not only is he a brother, he's a friend. He will take the time to play with his siblings or help Mom do what needs to be done. But I think that Dad appreciates his help the most. Caleb is Dad's right arm and is following in his footsteps more and more each day.

Caleb also has the gift of being able to make anyone laugh (especially Tricia Ann!). He is always making jokes and playing pranks; for example, he decided that I needed to get wet while we were cleaning the kitchen earlier, I'll let him explain details later..., or while I was trying to have a peaceful ride in the kayak! But I love him and am thankful for him each day!
