Okay, an update on all the interesting, or boring, things going on at my grandparents house. Sorry I haven't posted daily like I said I would, but I've been kind of...um...busy. I actually did start, and finish, a post Tuesday night, but somehow I erased it and I didn't feel like rewriting it just then. And last night I was too busy watching The Two Towers to care much about posting!:) But I'm here now and I hope I don't bore you to death with what we've been doing.
We had a safe trip down on Monday. We made a very important stop at Sam's along the way for pretzels and root beer and then back in the car got Caleb's laptop and started out with an Andy Griffith and later moved on to The Lord of the Rings , until the battery ran out. We arrived in Eastman just in time for dinner and I can't remember what we did that evening.
Tuesday all I did was get one brother tangled up in a huge wasp nest, sling a sister off the golf cart, and get the golf cart stuck on a log. Yes, I had to call for aid, or walk and go get it; people here don't respond to an SOS being sounded by a golf cart horn. The rescue team was quite kind in assisting me. Giddo changed clothes and walked out there, and Caleb came, dripping wet in his bathing suit with my sandals on. What a sight he was; too bad I didn't have my camera! To make a long story short, we, or they, got the golf cart out and I was told to not to run over logs and get it stuck again. But earlier today it was Giddo who ran over a log and got it stuck, except he didn't have to go for help.
Today and yesterday have been somewhat alike. We've just been swimming and riding and then swimming again and riding some more. This past Lord's Day, Elijah Brothers let Caleb borrow The Two Towers video game and he and our cousin Chip have been playing it nonstop; they still can't beat that troll, though. :) Keep trying guys, you'll get it!
I'll post some pictures...later, now I've got to go finish The Return of the King!
