Long time, no post...

It has been awhile, hasn't it? I'll try not to make this too long. Let's see, since the last time I posted, we have gotten the electricity turned on, all water running, floors in bedrooms, a bathroom, and the utility room all laid, counters and cabinets all set in the kitchen, all appliances working except the stove, and PODS delivered and unloaded. Yeah, you could say we've been a little on the busy side. All that plus everyday things like school and cooking and cleaning. We still have to put in the laminate flooring in the living room, kitchen, and dining room, and finish off the master bath. The guys (and occasionally myself) have been working on the siding, trying to get a lot of it put up this week. We still have a bunch of little things like door and window trim and shelves in closets to put up. But we are finally living in our home and enjoying it very much. It's fun to be getting settled and a big relief to know we don't have to move again for a long, long time. At least, we don't think we do.

So that's basically what we've been doing the past few weeks. We've had a bunch of visits from out-of-town friends who are moving up here and have enjoyed their fellowship immensely. We can't wait till they are all up here for good.

Before I go, I want to mention a birthday that was at the beginning of this month. Kenan Michele was born on September 6th and has added much to the Lovett household. She has become a wonderful young lady and is such a big help to us all. I love you, Sis!

Hopefully, I'll have some pictures soon. But then again y'all know how that goes.
