Part 1 - The Bradshaws'
Last Wednesday (not yesterday, the week before) we left our home and our work there for a little bit of a vacation. Our first stop was the Bradshaws'. Dad and Caleb helped with some chores around the farm and Mom did a little painting. Us girls would have done more but, since there wasn't much to do, we took a little trip. Thursday afternoon Mrs. Bradshaw, Laura, Mom, Hannah, and I all went to Sir's. Oh girls! What a place! Tables and tables of fabrics; it was any seamstress's dream! We all had a wonderful time and found many good deals. And then in the evenings after dinner we played Cranium till about midnight while the adults talked about...well, I don't know what they talked about. But I have to say that Cranium was tons of fun. We laughed till our sides hurt, and then we laughed some more. Oh, and one more thing of great importance: While we were there, Mr. Bradshaw's new espresso maker arrived. So guess what we did two, three times a day? Made lattes! Now most of you know how I can't stand coffee. But one night Mr. Bradshaw made Laura and me chocolate lattes and I really enjoyed mine! Really, I think chocolate can make anything taste better. :)
Part 2 - The Lingos'
Friday, we left the Bradshaws and made our way down to the Lingos' place. And what a wonderful time we had! Saturday we played volleyball (some of us for the first time) and rode the four wheeler, played instruments, talked, and just had a really relaxing day. Then on the Lord's Day we went to Christ Reformed Church and it was so good to see everyone again! Unfortunately though we couldn't stay around too long to fellowship. We were already late for our next appointment.
Part 3 - The Grandparents'
After church, we headed down to Bobbi and Giddo's where we have done just about nothing. Caleb and Daddy had to load up a truck of some things from one of Giddo's Subways to take back with us, but other than that we've been riding four wheelers, swimming (but not much of that because the water is cold), sleeping, riding four wheelers, etc. Oh yes, and eating is in there somewhere too.
Well, I've got to go. Someone is requesting Cars be put in the DVD player.
Sounds great! Sorry we could'nt see ya'll!
