It seems to have quite a hold on everyone around here. It started last Tuesday, taking down Mom as its first victim. Then, slowly, it grabbed at everyone else until we were strewn out all over the place feeling week and helpless. Daddy made it through last weekend feeling fine, for which we were very thankful, but now we're praying that he'll make through this weekend! After more than a week, we are still not well. We've been through just about every movie that we own, that our neighbors own, and that our local video store owns, just because none of us feels like doing anything else. Isn't that awful? But watching movies is what your supposed to do when your sick, right?
Apparently our sickness is not just contained within our house. At least three other families from our church have exactly the same thing, and it doesn't stop until it's gotten everyone in the house.
Anyways, that's what we're up to right now. Watching plenty of Andy Griffith episodes, getting lots of rest, and praying that this will end soon.
At least I have my voice back. . . ;)
