I reckon...

. . . it's about time for another post. Truth is I've had this little thing called writer's block for the last week or two. Okay...month or two...Anyways, I'll do my best to give an update.

Outdoors. . .we borrowed some natural tillers, um, that would be pigs, from a good neighbor for a couple of weeks to begin tilling up our garden. We won't begin planting out there for another few months, but the beginning work has begun. Seeds I believe are being ordered this week, plans are being drawn out, and various things are being tilled into the soil. It's getting exciting to think that spring is just around the corner, and yet, I still would like a good snowfall.

Also, on the other end of the field, the guys have been working on some fencing. Clearing out paths, cutting down trees, digging post holes, etc. has kept Caleb especially busy in the afternoons for the past week of so. And it's looking good! And I believe a barn is in the plans for the near future.

Indoors. . .Daddy is in desperate need of an office. So we are trying to get a room finished off in the basement for him to unpack all of his books and get in some good study. Progress is slow right now, but I think he has high hopes of getting it finished soon.

Other than all that, the usual school, cooking, cleaning, whatever else we do all day long is still going on at a normal pace. Daddy took us all ice skating a couple of weeks ago, which was a blast! Most of us had never been before, so just imagine! Mom kept saying that she was having more fun sitting on the side watching all of us then we were actually skating! Needless to say, we all had a great time.

Well, what good is a blog without pictures? Not much, I'm afraid. I've heard of people who don't even read the posts, they just search for pictures. ;) Unfortunately, I'm going to have to put some in a future post, because we just don't have any pictures right now! I'm afraid I missed my golden weather opportunity; I think it's supposed to be rainy and cloudy for the next few days, but I will try to get some up soon. I promise.

But. . .a post without pictures is better than no post, right? ;)
