Come Together Now

Come Together Now - Music City Unites For Haiti from Provident Label Group on Vimeo.

Dad and I had the privilege of talking with David Mullen, the co-writer of Come Together Now, last week. He explained to us that this project he worked on with Michael W. Smith was to gather funds to donate to organizations such as Samaritan's Purse and American Red Cross for relief efforts in Haiti. Quite a few artists, including Mark Hall and Megan Garret from Casting Crowns, Lee Greenwood, Nicole C. Mullen, and The Oak Ridge Boys, as well as the studio in which it was recorded, donated their time and talent to put together this amazing song, and 100% of the profits will go to the aforementioned organizations.

So watch the video, and let me know what you think. Personally, I thought it was pretty neat. The song is available to purchase from iTunes, and you can find more information about the song and the artists on its website, Come Together Now Haiti.
