Another family worship conversation

"Jonathan, can you tell me what we read tonight?" Dad asked.

"Uh, I don't really remember," he replied.

"Were you listening?"

"Yes."

"Then what did we just read?"

And then Jonathan's rather smart reply, "I think maybe you should ask someone else."

    Kaliste, how does your father approach family worship in general? Is it the same as how he has done it at the various gatherings that I've been to at your house and over at the Stauffers?

    I'm always curious how different households approach family worship. It's unlikely that I'll ever have a family of my own, but it's nice to have some ideas to fall back on in case I ever do.

  2. Yes, it's pretty much the same. Sometimes we get a mini sermon with our Bible reading; sometimes he just reads; usually depends on the subject matter or just how tired he is. :) Occasionally we all take turns reading a passage. There really is no set way in how we go about it, but what you saw when you were here is about it. Hope that helps!
