Oxford, May 26

I think the biggest attraction to Oxford is their colleges. Many old, historic building which were just beautiful to photograph! Here are a few of my favorites. If you feel like seeing the rest of the pictures I took there, click here.

I couldn't decide whether these guys were creepy or just silly. And I have no idea what they were or why they were there.

The outside of the famous dining hall at New College. Some really fascinating stories behind these buildings, not just a place where a movie was filmed. Somehow Harry Potter managed to take his camera in there, but they wouldn't let me, so no pictures of the inside. You can Google it though; it really is neat.

The weather that day was fun. It was sunny one minute; then clouds would blow in from nowhere, and it would pour down rain for about five or ten minutes, and then it would be sunny again. During one of these downpours, we ducked inside an old bookstore and found ourselves looking through antique books written by all sort of people. The book above is a Bible, unfortunately written in Dutch. Or maybe that was fortunate. Had it been in English I would have been quite tempted to buy it!
