Well, I'm back from Florida after a great week of therapy. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers; everything went well, and we were very pleased with my results.
We didn't get to spend as much time at the beach as I had hoped, but I did get to walk around in the sand and stick my feet in the water. No feeling quite like it, is there?
I absolutely love the cloud formations when you're on the coast. They're always doing something crazy, and this rainstorm was no exception. Is that cool or what??
So apparently when you're in Celebration, FL, you have to stop and get your picture taken with this bear. Or at least you have to when you're with Caroline. :)
Aunt Christy was ecstatic to find a lime tree. And that's putting it mildly.
Here's the whole group of girls undergoing intensive therapy with Caroline and me. The guy in the back is our doctor, Tony Nalda, and the guy in the front is Joe, our assistant who went around strapping us in and out of the various machines.
Looked up one day to see an airplane writing in the sky. I'm sure everyone in FL is used to seeing this all the time, but for me and Aunt Christy, it was mesmerizing. I don't know how long we just stared up into the sky watching him fly around.
Even though the Sprouls where gone almost the entire week we were down there, we did manage to squeeze in a short visit one afternoon before we left. It was great to see them, and I'm glad I got to see Donovan. He's so much bigger than the last time I saw him! Growing up too fast...
I'm so glad that I had this awesome girl to spend my week with. She and her mom were tons of fun, and they both kept me laughing all week long! Thank you girls for letting me come along!
