Oh, we've been having a lot of fun lately; or at least I have!
This past Lord's Day was a wonderful day, worshipping God and fellowshipping with His people. After church, we had the Williams family and some other friends, the Fish family, over to our house for dinner and fellowship. We played basketball, football, soccer, Capture the Flag, and I'm not sure what else. One highlight, though, was playing a prank on our thirteen-year-old neighbor, Josh. Oh, it was so funny! Caleb will post details on his blog, hopefully soon (if he doesn't, I may write another post explaining it all). Since it was him and Calvin that actually did it (I only kept Josh distracted), Caleb wanted to be the one to blog about it, and so I'll let him. I'm not sure if it will be very funny reading about it, it's one of those things where you just have to be there. We were almost rolling on the ground because we were laughing so hard!
Yesterday, we went up to my grandparents house to help them put an air conditioner in the studio. We were pleasantly surprised by our cousin Matthew who we didn't know was spending some time up there. Caleb and I had so much fun chatting with him. We talked about the funniest commercials or latest movies, pranks we had played on people, music, and just about anything else you can think of. The guys cleaned out the gutters, and we all kept having to clean up after Daddy; I don't know how many times we wiped dust off the tables and picked up trash or tools. But it was all fun. We finished the day off with dinner at a bar-b-que restaurant, then headed home.
Today, we got back into our schoolwork. Fun. We are trying to finish up this year's work before the end of July. Think we'll make it? :)So all in all we've had a good couple of days and I am enjoying the new week God has given us!
