We had a great 4th of July yesterday. The Lingos and Stouffers came over for a cookout and we talked and played with the soccer balls, but never really got a game going, ate hamburgers and hotdogs, and set off fireworks. The weather was actually pretty nice; it had rained (and I am very thankful for that, if it hadn't, we may have caught our woods on fire!) so it was nice and cool, perfect for what we were doing. We stayed on the back patio for most of the time enjoying each others company, commenting on different fireworks or how we were going to set them off, and it was fun just to all be together. Unfortunately, I think I only took one or two pictures the entire evening, I don't know what I was thinking. Tricia Ann took some though, so maybe she or Jacob will post them on their blog (hint, hint guys!).
So thank you Lingos and Stouffers for celebrating with us and making our evening a fun one!
