Time...what's that?

Last weekend I never knew what time it was. Monday, or I guess it was Tuesday morning, I didn't go to bed till 1am and then got up at about 10am; that really threw me off. Today I woke up not knowing whether it was Thursday or Friday. We've been eating dinner at about 7 - 8pm instead of 5:30pm and, oh, how I'm ready to get back on some sort of schedule. I can't tell whether thing are normal or crazy around here. The other day I e-mailed a friend and told her that things were normal and there wasn't much to blog about. And then I turned around and e-mailed another friend and said that all sorts of things were going on around here and it was quite crazy. Here's the scary part: I'm not sure which is the truth!

Garden update:

It's doing very well and Caleb is growing prouder each day! I keep meaning to post pictures, but never get around to it. I will...someday. We ate the first green beans last night and they were really good. And I decided to try one of the peppers. BIG mistake! I didn't even bite off anything, just sank my teeth into it. That was the hottest thing I have ever eaten, and I didn't even eat it! My mouth was on fire for the next five minutes. Mom said that they make good pepper jelly though, glad she likes it!

Oh, hopefully it's to bed early tonight. But maybe I can squeeze an Andy Griffith in before I go. :)

  1. I hope things get back to normal around there for you, Kaliste. I know exactly how you feel! We went through two years of that sort of thing while we built the house.

Our peppers have been quite hot this year too. I think it is the dry weather we've had because last years peppers were almost sweet!
