This and that...

All right, well here's an update of all the interesting, and not so interesting, things that have going on around here.

Last night Dad and Caleb put on a 'parade' for us. Dad rode around the living room on his 'horse' (the broom) while Caleb ran behind him adding the 'sound affects' (tapping two blocks together). Wish I had had my camera...

I discovered that the kitchen floor can be extremely fun to mop. When it's wet, you can slip and slide around all you want! Here's how to make the best use of it: Take a running start on the carpet and when you get to the tile, jump and slide! Works really well with boots that have felt on the bottom of the soles.

Kenan came into the dining room with a complaint not too long ago; something was seriously wrong with the girls' laptop: the sound wasn't working! That's when Caleb pipes up and explains that he muted it because it was annoying him. Problem solved.

Some of you might be somewhat surprised but happy to hear that we got out our instruments and played together as a family the other day. But then you may not be so happy to hear that we spent more time setting up microphones and speakers and trying to decide what to play and who was going to sing what part than we did actually playing together. It was fun though. I wish I had had the camera then too.

I finished up my apron that I was sewing today and I love it! But when I was in the kitchen earlier, I decided that I really needed one with sleeves. Somehow I always manage to sling whatever on the places that my apron is not covering up. Go figure...

Still working on that photoshow and it should be done soon. The interest in it has probably melted away because of my procrastination, but if you will just hang in there a little bit longer, you will get to see it.
