Our Christmas

Well I hope you all have had a good Christmas. We certainly have! On the Lord's Day, after sundown, we opened gifts as a family, and then of course had to play with them. We played a couple of chess games, which reminds me of something I will tell you about in a moment, and then went to bed, I think.

Monday morning we got up and went over to my aunt and uncle's house to celebrate Christmas with them and my grandparents. We swapped gifts and then had a wonderful meal. We played games and watched funny videos, tried to shoot Giddo and Bobbi with a rocket but weren't too successful and just had a wonderful time with our family. Time flew by and before I knew it, we were heading back home. Later that night, after the little girls were in bed, Mom read a book, Caleb did I have no idea what but later joined Daddy and me who were watching a movie.

Today was just a normal day I guess. We got some school done and errands run. Dad leaves for Centerville tomorrow and will be coming back Thursday, so we're getting ready for that, but I think that's about all that's going on.

Oh and I've been doing some thinking about IBC root beer (I'm still in the preliminary studies, so I'm not yet sure if it works with any other brand). I was drinking some while playing chess the other day and I have come to the conclusion that it actually helps you think! This may be surprising to some, but I was losing terribly until I went to the refrigerator and opened a bottle. I started winning and eventually won the game! I will inform you of further research and studies as soon as I can get the data. But you do have to remember: all in moderation. I do admit that if you drink too much that can result in all sorts of problems just as anything else.

If I think about it, remember it, and feel like it, I'll post some pictures of our Christmas celebration. I don't think we got very many, but I'll check and see.

I am convinced that though IBC root beer may stimulate your brain, drinking it will have dangerous long-term effects. After several years of drinking IBC, one will begin to experience memory loss because of the harmful effect that the flavoring they use has on brain cells.

Sweet tea would be a much wiser choice.

It had to be me as the victim.

  4. I really think it is the high-fructose corn syrup that is most harmful. However, I do like a little root beer every now and then.

(although I don't happen to be a "m.d." I know several people who would back up my theories)

Kaliste can't help it, she only drinks so much of it because so many people that love her buy it for her. If it makes her sweeter and keeps her happy . . . . then keep buying it for her.
